Self Care Sunday: Declutter Challenge

Pull out the big garbage bags, cardboard boxes, and old wrapping paper. We’re going on a self care challenge to declutter. It doesn’t matter if you live in a tiny apartment or a big house — everyone has some place they can tidy up and organize. Decluttering is good for our health! Not only will your home be less chaotic and disorganized, but it will also give you peace of mind.

I know what you’re thinking, it sounds like a cliché and those challenges are annoying. But I’m going to ask you to hold that thought for just one second. Think of all the reasons why clutter can negatively affect your life, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. You know in your heart it’s a pain having to dig for things you need, right? And when you do find what you are looking for, it literally feels like winning the lottery! Well, imagine finding what you are looking for every single time.

I think we can agree that the declutter challenge is something to take seriously. Don't you think?

In today's busy world it is easy to let things pile up. Clothes, mail and other items can easily pile up and make for an overwhelming mess. For this challenge I want you to create a simple system that can help you clear out those extra things
